The major difference between freestyle wrestling and Greco – Roman wrestling is that in Greco – Roman wrestling it is forbidden to hold the opponent below the waist. This rule accentuate on the throws in Greco – Roman wrestling, because the wrestler cannot avoid them by holding the opponent’s leg or trip him up to take him on the ground.
